Football Recap: Turlock Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Turlock's offense. They fell 6-0 to the Pitman Pride on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Turlock dropped their record down to 5-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pitman, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Turlock will take on rival Gregori at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 11.6, the Jaguars 8.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pitman is set to challenge their familiar foe Modesto at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
