The Faith Lutheran Crusaders will take on the Liberty Patriots at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Faith Lutheran comes in on five and Liberty on four.
Faith Lutheran is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Nevada's top teams: Centennial, who was ranked 11th  at the time (Faith Lutheran was ranked fifth). The Crusaders came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of  3-1  last Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 31, 2022, but that streak is no more.
 While Faith Lutheran might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Centennial scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 17-25,  25-19.

 K Sawyer went supernova,  getting nine  digs and five  aces. Those  five  aces gave  her a new career-high.
 They weren't the only good servers: Faith Lutheran  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in five consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Liberty made easy work of Silverado  on Wednesday and carried off  a  3-0 win.
 Liberty never let Silverado on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23,  25-20.
 Liberty's win came from a few key players Faith Lutheran will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  ARYANNA PAREDES, who  had 13  digs.
 Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Faith Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 21-14.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Monday's  match:  Faith Lutheran has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 8.1  aces per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.2  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Faith Lutheran took their  victory against Liberty  in their previous meeting  back in August of 2018 by a conclusive  3-0 score. Will the Crusaders repeat their success,  or do  the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
