Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Saints vs. Bennett Tigers

The Jefferson Saints will take on the Bennett Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 7.

Last Monday, Jefferson came up short against Sheridan and fell 61-50.

Meanwhile, Bennett was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Weld Central 62-33. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Bennett's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Jefferson was able to grind out a solid victory over Bennett in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 79-71. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Bennett have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
