Football Recap: Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They were outmatched by the Southwest Patriots and fell 36-0. The Chargers were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Southwest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tkorian 'Drop' Davis, who rushed for 111 yards and two TDs on only nine carries. Ajavion 'JJ' Wilson was another key passer, throwing for 157 yards and three touchdowns.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Southwest, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Central will square off against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers are facing the Golden Hawks at the right time seeing as the Golden Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Southwest, they will take on Dodge County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
