Kingman extends home winning streak to four

Recap: Kingman Bulldogs vs. Tonopah Valley Phoenix

The Kingman Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Tonopah Valley Phoenix with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kingman secured a 51-47 W over Tonopah Valley on Saturday. For Kingman, this counts as revenge for the 67-63 loss Tonopah Valley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Michael Mcculley was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Logan Drummond, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.

Kingman's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Tonopah Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingman will face off against Yuma Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yuma Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three contests. As for Tonopah Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker and Tonopah Valley are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
