            Softball Recap: Enterprise Yellowjackets vs. Stringer Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Enterprise extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 17-15 in the process. They came up short against  the Stringer Red Devils, falling  16-1. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  8-0  loss  on Wednesday.
 Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Piper Martin, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
As for Stringer, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 20 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3-2 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.3 runs over those games.
On Stringer's side,  Madilyn Graham made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Graham has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jaycee Holifield, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  home run the last three times she's  played.  Rylei Pickerell also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
As of now, neither Enterprise nor Stringer have any future games scheduled.
