Basketball Recap: Ringling Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elmore City-Pernell last Friday, Ringling came back down to earth. The Ringling Blue Devils took a hard 50-35 fall against the Healdton Bulldogs on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Ringling's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Healdton, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Coming up, Ringling will be playing at home against Temple at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ringling is facing Temple at the right time seeing as Temple is stuck on a 19-game losing streak. As for Healdton, they will take on Turner at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Turner will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Healdton surely won't give up without a fight.
