Izard County owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds as they made off with a 7-0 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Izard County, bringing their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Sloan-Hendrix, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Coming up, Izard County will face off against Cotter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sloan-Hendrix, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Marshall at 4:30 p.m.
