Basketball Recap: Milford Piles Up the Points Against Turpin + How To Watch

Milford strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Turpin Spartans to the tune of 64-19. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-11.

Milford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Chadwell, who posted 13 points along with eight steals and five assists. Chadwell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Perone, who shot 90% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to five boards and three blocks.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Milford was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Milford's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Turpin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Milford will take on West Clermont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Turpin, they will head out to challenge Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
