Basketball Game Preview: Pathway Christian Panthers vs. Tri-State Christian Huskies

The Pathway Christian Panthers will square off against the Tri-State Christian Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Pathway Christian and three for Tri-State Christian.

Pathway Christian is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Quad Cities Christian on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Pathway Christian was outmatched by Quad Cities Christian and fell 45-4. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Noelle Nelson and Stella Gehman, who each put up two points. Maggie Shetler held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Tri-State Christian lost 38-16 to Quad Cities Christian on Friday. The Huskies were down 35-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Pathway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tri-State Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
