Recap: Canterbury Crusaders vs. Sports Leadership & Management Spartans
On Thursday, The Canterbury Crusaders got themselves on the board against the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans, but the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans never followed suit. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 53-0 win over the Spartans.
Jordan Battle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 172 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Battle is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Roman Wilder was another key contributor, throwing for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Canterbury's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Canterbury will play host again and welcome Gainesville Christian Community, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gainesville Christian Community is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Sports Leadership & Management does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
