Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Carmel vs. St. Thomas More

The Mt. Carmel Cubs will head out on the road to square off against the St. Thomas More Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Carmel's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so St. Thomas More's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Mt. Carmel's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Benjamin Franklin with a sharp 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Mt. Carmel, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas More beat Dutchtown 3-1 on Monday. St. Thomas More haven't had any issues with Dutchtown recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Mt. Carmel's record now sits at 17-3-2. As for St. Thomas More, their record is now 11-4-5.
