Soccer Recap: Virginia High Takes a Loss

Virginia High lost against Tazewell back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats lost 4-1 to the Bulldogs. Virginia High were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Virginia High is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9. As for Tazewell, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Virginia High will face off against Richlands at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Virginia High will be up against Richlands' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.46 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tazewell, they will square off against Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marion will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tazewell surely won't give up without a fight.
