Baseball Recap: Negaunee Extends Winning Streak to Four

Negaunee waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Menominee Maroons with a sharp 14-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Miners, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Evan DellAngelo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Slater, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Negaunee's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Menominee, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Negaunee nor the Maroons have any future games scheduled.
