Brawley was the clear victor by a 50-24 margin over Holtville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since February 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Southwest EC had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 39-32 victory over Calipatria on Monday.

Southwest EC's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-15. As for Brawley, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Everything came up roses for Brawley against Southwest EC in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 68-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brawley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
