Volleyball Recap: Covington Trojans vs. Westfield/Guerin Catholic
On Saturday, the Covington Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat Westfield/Guerin Catholic and fell 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Covington sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 18-16.
Covington's loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
Covington is on the road again on Saturday to play Guerin Catholic at 1:30 p.m. The last three games Guerin Catholic has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Westfield/Guerin Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
