Softball Game Preview: Davis County Mustangs vs. Centerville Big Reds/Redettes

Davis County is 2-8 against Centerville since June of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Mustangs will host the Big Reds/Redettes at 7:00 p.m.

Davis County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Knoxville on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Panthers. Mustangs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Monday.

Meanwhile, Centerville waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Chargers.

Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Centerville, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
