Basketball Game Preview: Fulshear Chargers vs. Alief Elsik Rams

The Fulshear Chargers will head out to challenge the Alief Elsik Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Fulshear lost to George Ranch at home by a 65-48 margin. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Alief Elsik was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 57-39 to George Ranch. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 577th, while the Longhorns are ranked 244th).

Alief Elsik's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Fulshear, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-15.

Fulshear came out on top in a nail-biter against Alief Elsik in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, sneaking past 46-43. Does Fulshear have another victory up their sleeve, or will Alief Elsik turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
