Soccer Recap: Ottawa Hills Takes a Loss

Ottawa Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Christian Eagles, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Ottawa Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Christian are ranked 98th).

Ottawa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Ottawa Hills will head out to square off against Catholic Central at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian, they will face off against Byron Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Byron Center will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
