Trinity had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ballard Bruins a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won 22 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Ballard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will host Madison Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ballard, they will welcome Collins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
