Soccer Game Preview: West vs. Wasatch

The West Panthers will challenge the Wasatch Wasps at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West's last seven matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

West is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Cyprus 2-1. West haven't had any issues with Cyprus recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Uche Eke-Ukoh and Andy Peterson scored both of West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Wasatch had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Skyhawks. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Wasatch were the better team in the second half.

West's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Wasatch, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2.
