Softball Recap: Glen Rose Takes a Loss

Glen Rose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Graham Steers. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Steers earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Brooklynne Yant was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Addison Reitzer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Glen Rose's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Graham, they pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Glen Rose will take on Mineral Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Graham, they will face off against Brock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Steers surely won't give up without a fight.
