Volleyball Game Preview: Otis Bulldogs vs. Prairie Mustangs

The Otis Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Prairie Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Otis turned things around against Briggsdale on Friday. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Otis' got stronger as the match went on, holding Briggsdale to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 26-24, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Prairie sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Caliche on Friday.

Prairie took Caliche into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 16-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Otis' record now sits at 11-5. As for Prairie, their record is now 10-2.

Otis beat Prairie 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
