Preview: Mercyhurst Prep Lakers vs. Northwestern Wildcats
Mercyhurst Prep is 10-0 against Northwestern since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Maddox Brzuz, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Derek Bly was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Northwestern, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenville on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northwestern in their matchups with Greenville: they've now lost four in a row.
