University extended their postseason success on Friday against Resurrection Christian. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Cougars. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Gage Viken spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, University's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Turk, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Turk a new career-high.

University's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Resurrection Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 18-9 record.

As of now, neither University nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
