Basketball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Sheridan Blackhawks

After flying high against Frankfort last Friday, Tri-West Hendricks came back down to earth. The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins lost to the Sheridan Blackhawks on the road by a 68-49 margin on Tuesday. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.

Lauren Bear and Leah Mulligan certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bear went 8 for 18 on her way to 20 points, while Mulligan posted 11 points and three steals. Bear's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Aniyah Anthony was another key player, putting up four points.
