Volleyball Game Preview: Corry Beavers vs. Waynesburg Central Raiders

The Corry Beavers will take on the Waynesburg Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corry will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Corry is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Cathedral Prep with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Corry can attribute much of their success to Sydney Mineo, who had 15 digs and one assist, and Brynley Watrous, who had five digs and one assist. That's the most digs Mineo has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central was able to grind out a solid win over Our Lady of the Sacred Heart on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

Corry better focus on containing Lelia McCollum and Chatham Knight as the pair were huge in Waynesburg Central's win. McCollum had 21 digs and three aces, while Knight had ten digs and two aces. Knight has been hot recently, having also posted 14 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Waynesburg Central's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Corry, their win bumped their record up to 40-2-7.
