Cuthbertson's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Piedmont Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in September.

Jaylynn Carter paced Cuthbertson's offense, picking up 15 kills. Carter got some help from Madison Shott and her 13 assists.

Cuthbertson has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Piedmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
