Volleyball Recap: Boone Central Takes a Loss

The Boone Central Cardinals didn't have quite enough to beat the Broken Bow Indians on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Addy Hedlund paced Boone Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Hedlund got some help from Brittany Sup and her 17 assists. Sienna Borer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Broken Bow to victory were McKenna Jacobsen and Halle Quinn. Jacobsen had 18 assists, while Quinn had ten digs and two aces. That's the most assists Jacobsen has posted over her last six contests.

Boone Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Broken Bow, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Boone Central will challenge Ord on Tuesday. As for Broken Bow, they will take on Alliance at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
