Flag Football Game Preview: Dawson County Tigers vs. Gilmer Bobcats

The Dawson County Tigers will square off against the Gilmer Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Dawson County 9.1, Gilmer 14.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Dawson County walked away with a 19-12 win over Ringgold. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dawson County.

Meanwhile, Gilmer narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past LaFayette 14-12.

Gilmer's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Dawson County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Dawson County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Gilmer in their previous matchup back in October, but they still walked away with a 25-20 win.
