Bonham got themselves on the board against De Kalb on Friday, but De Kalb never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the De Kalb Bears. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Emely Alfaro, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (two). Annabelle Green also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Bonham's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for De Kalb, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonham will square off against Collinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for De Kalb, they will be playing at home against Rivercrest at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday. Rivercrest has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.2 runs per game on average), something De Kalb will no doubt try to take advantage of.
