Basketball Recap: Lightridge Bolts vs. Riverside Ram
The Lightridge Bolts lost against the Riverside Ram last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lightridge ended up on the wrong side of a rough 72-50 walloping at the hands of the Ram. Lightridge has struggled against the Ram recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Riverside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Max Lawson out in front who scored 11 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Peterson, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Lightridge's loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
Lightridge will head out on the road to challenge the Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Briar Woods is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will be playing at home against the at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
