Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chisholm). They breezed past the Blackwell Maroons to the tune of 72-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Maroons: they've now won four in a row.

Chisholm's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Blackwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Chisholm will square off against Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chisholm will need to watch out since Jones has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Blackwell, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Crooked Oak at 7:00 p.m. The Maroons will be up against the Ruf-Nex's rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
