Volleyball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mountain House Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Kimball took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 24-26, 21-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mountain House, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Kimball has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Franklin on the 11th. As for Mountain House, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Oakdale on the 11th.
