Volleyball Recap: Texas Beats Center for Their Third Straight Victory

Texas waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Center Roughriders by a score of 2-0.

Taryne Stiger paced Texas' offense, picking up nine kills. Stiger got some help from Kyleigh Perkins and her nine assists. Stiger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Texas' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Center, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Texas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against China Spring on the 14th. As for Center, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against San Augustine at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
