Soccer Recap: Davidson Takes Down Ranked Baker

Davidson faced Baker in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Hornets. Davidson have beaten Baker the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Baker has come to flipping the script.

Davidson pushed their record up to 10-3-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three games. As for Baker, they moved to 11-4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Davidson will venture away from home to take on Huntsville at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baker, they will host Rockvale at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
