Softball Recap: Saint Viator Comes Up Short

Saint Viator lost against Benet Academy on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-3 to the Redwings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saint Viator saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Moreno, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Saint Viator's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Benet Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

Coming up, Saint Viator will face off against Crystal Lake Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Benet Academy, they will challenge Marian Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Redwings are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
