Baseball Recap: Sidwell Friends' Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Sidwell Friends managed to slip by Landon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Sidwell Friends came up short against Landon on Wednesday, falling 10-4. The Quakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sidwell Friends fell to 6-1. As for Landon, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Sidwell Friends will challenge Calhoun Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Landon, they will be playing at home against DC International at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Landon's pitchers better be ready for this one: DC International has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
