Football Recap: Wyandanch Takes a Loss

Wyandanch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Comsewogue, falling 35-0. Wyandanch lost against Comsewogue in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 56-0 score last time.

Wyandanch's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Comsewogue, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Wyandanch will welcome West Islip at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Comsewogue, they are taking a road trip to square off against Harborfields at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
