Volleyball Recap: Panama Comes Up Short

Panama lost against Chautauqua Lake back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Panama was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chautauqua Lake's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-12.

Panama's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Chautauqua Lake, they pushed their record up to 29-8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Panama will face off against Brocton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chautauqua Lake, they will head out to square off against Southwestern at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
