Softball Recap: Folsom Takes a Loss

Folsom fell victim to Del Oro and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Folsom's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Del Oro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Folsom will look to defend their home field on Friday against Oak Ridge at 4:00 p.m. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Del Oro, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ganesha at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
