Soccer Recap: Alexandria City Extends Winning Streak to Two

Alexandria City got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Springfield Spartans a 3-0 shutout. Alexandria City might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Alexandria City and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two games. As for West Springfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4-1.
