Norwalk posted their closest victory since September 2nd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Shelby Whippets 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Truckers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Norwalk had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Norwalk's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for Shelby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Coincidentally, Norwalk and Shelby will both be playing Lexington the next time they take the court. The Whippets will head out to face the Minutemen at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, while the Truckers will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
