Softball Recap: Cedar Valley Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Cedar Valley's offense. They came up short against the Lehi Pioneers on Monday, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aviators of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Cedar Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeslyn Collins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Cedar Valley's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Lehi, their win bumped their record up to an identical 13-8.

Cedar Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Wasatch on the 24th. As for Lehi, they have also already played their next match, a 14-0 win against American Fork on the 22nd.
