Basketball Game Preview: Islands Sharks vs. Bridges Prep Buccaneers

The Islands Sharks will take on the Bridges Prep Buccaneers in a tournament on Thursday. Islands has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight losses, while Bridges Prep will come in with three straight wins.

Islands saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a hard 60-44 fall against Savannah Country Day. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Hornets are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, Bridges Prep didn't have too much trouble with Savannah Classical Academy on Friday as they won 69-50.

Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bridges Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
