Soccer Recap: Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Leadership Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Oak Grove Grizzlies. Leadership Academy were not able to make up for their loss to Oak Grove from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Leadership Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Oak Grove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3-2.

Leadership Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against River Mill on the 21st. As for Oak Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Southwest Guilford on the 21st.
