Soccer Game Preview: Lower Merion vs. Harriton

The Lower Merion Aces will head out on the road to take on the Harriton Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lower Merion's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lower Merion is headed into the matchup having not lost since September 2 and will look to keep things rolling. Their defense stepped up to hand Strath Haven a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. That's two games straight that Lower Merion have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Harriton made sure to put some goals up on the board against Garnet Valley on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Jaguars. Harriton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Lower Merion pushed their record up to 11-2-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Harriton, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-2.
