Saint Thomas Aquinas had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blue Springs South Jaguars. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Presley Kreter paced Saint Thomas Aquinas' offense, picking up five kills. Kreter got some help from Alayna Vaeth and her 13 assists. Grace Nelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Saint Thomas Aquinas' record is now 8-1. As for Blue Springs South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Saint Thomas Aquinas and Blue Springs South will both be playing Liberty North the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Eagles at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Jaguars will play them later in the day, at 11:40 a.m.
