Justin Kauffman posted a new career-low in hits on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Ranney is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
