The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Crusaders at 3:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Shady Spring comes in on six and Greater Beckley Christian on four.
Shady Spring's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past PikeView 10-0. Considering the Tigers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Sam Barnett was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Noah Fox, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Shady Spring is undefeated when Fox posts two or more runs, but 8-10-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aiden Calvert, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, Greater Beckley Christian got the win against Montcalm on Monday by a conclusive 16-1. The match marked the Crusaders' most dominant win of the season.
Like Shady Spring, Greater Beckley Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Kellan Heffernan. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Heffernan was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Paul Fox was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Kaden Bolen was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Shady Spring's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-10-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Greater Beckley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Shady Spring has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .431. However, it's not like Greater Beckley Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .460. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
